Marine Turtle Nesting Beaches

Throughout the 1990s, our work on marine turtle nesting beaches was unmatched and set the standards by which nesting beaches are monitored in association with beach nourishment. Impact assessment of physical attributes is generally based on BACI analysis using parameters like (a) sediment texture, composition, and color, (b) in situ temperature, (c) density, hardness, and compaction, and (d) moisture content.

Wetlands

We apply the concepts of physical and biological sedimentology to assess the effects of surface water management or landscape alteration on coastal wetland sustainability by quantifying historical and recent patterns of deposition, transport, and erosion.
