Shore Protection
We provide clients with a broad range of services in the field of shore protection, including exploration and utilization of beach- and dune-compatible sand in offshore, nearshore, and upland environments. Our distinct experience and expertise has made us a leader in delivering compatible fill material based on detailed borrow area analysis, native beach characterization, and real-time project QA/QC.
With experience in inlet management extending back to the late 1980s, we provide our clients with professional services including (a) regional sediment management, such as back- or by-passing and feeder beach nourishment, (b) channel dredging and sediment recycling, (c) nearshore, inlet, and estuarine mapping, and (d) water quality monitoring and analysis.
