With more than a decade of practical experience, we provide efficient and effective characterization of marine, estuarine or upland environments using (a) geotechnical site surveys supported by state-of-the art bathymetric, geophysical and drilling techniques, (b) site survey and utilization permitting from federal (i.e., Minerals Management Service) and state (i.e., Florida Dept of Community Affairs) agencies, and (c) real time sediment compatibility analysis to ensure compliance with regulatory statutes or specific permit conditions.
Given sustained urban growth, coastal construction projects must now be permitted in a regional context through cumulative impact assessment. Our services center on the analysis of coastal hazards that may accompany site development. These hazards generally include shoreline stability, overwash or breaching potential, and wetland sustainability.
